Accessible Mental Health Support
My Commitment to Accessibility
I believe that everyone deserves access to supportive, holistic mental health care. I am committed to making my services as straightforward and transparent as possible, with clear pricing and payment options to help you plan for your mental health investment.
Self-Pay Model
I operate on a private pay model, meaning payment is due at the time of service. This approach allows me to offer you the most personalized and flexible care possible, free from the constraints often imposed by insurance companies.
Benefits of my private pay model include:
- Greater privacy and confidentiality in your mental health records
- Flexibility in treatment length and frequency without insurance limitations
- Freedom to explore issues without diagnosis requirements or insurance mandates
- Personalized care plans tailored to your specific needs and goals
Out-of-Network Benefits
While I don't accept insurance directly, I understand that some clients may wish to seek reimbursement from their insurance providers. To support this:
- I provide detailed superbills for all sessions upon request.
- A superbill is an itemized receipt that includes all the information insurance companies typically require for reimbursement claims, such as dates of service, CPT codes, and diagnosis codes.
- You can submit these superbills to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
- Many insurance plans offer partial reimbursement for out-of-network mental health services.
- I encourage you to check with your insurance provider about your specific out-of-network benefits and reimbursement processes.
Please note that while I'm happy to provide superbills, the responsibility for submitting claims and following up with insurance companies lies with the client. I cannot guarantee reimbursement, as it depends on your specific insurance plan and coverage.
Health Savings Account (HSA) Payments
For your convenience, I accept payments through Health Savings Accounts (HSAs). HSAs can be an excellent way to pay for mental health services using pre-tax dollars, potentially reducing your overall healthcare costs. If you have an HSA, you may use these funds to pay for your sessions with me.
Key points about using your HSA:
- Mental health services are typically considered qualified medical expenses for HSA purposes.
- You can use your HSA debit card to pay for sessions directly.
- If you pay out-of-pocket, you can reimburse yourself from your HSA later (be sure to keep your receipts).
- Always check with your HSA administrator or a tax professional to ensure compliance with current regulations.
